Our legal coaching model for legal services assists those who prefer to represent themselves in court or to negotiate on their own behalf and for those who want to better control their legal budget.

Our Services In Legal Coaching
Did you know that 50% of Nova Scotians self-represent in family court? With legal coaching services you can have confidence in representing yourself. You’ll have the benefit of our experienced negotiation and trial counsel advice. Legal coaching self-representation provides strategic solicitor-client confidential advice.
Teryl Scott’s family law legal coaches give you the tools and confidence to get the job done. We assist you to negotiate, to draft documents, and to communicate with the courts and other lawyers. You have the advantage of receiving guidance from seasoned negotiators and trial lawyers.
Our legal coaching services do not include talking to judges, lawyers, other parties or representing you in court. All of which allows you to better manage your legal costs. If you wish us to represent you in court, then we also provide traditional representational services, which are contracted for separately.
Emails and texts are not read or considered by the lawyer until you are in the meeting with the law firm. Urgent matters must be managed through the law firm assistant who can book you to meet with the lawyer who will help you at that time. The cost of legal coaching is $450 per hour (plus 4% admin fee and HST) after the initial consultation.
